The Mart House cottage village, which uses innovative solar solutions, was built nearby Moscow. Mart House is located in the village of Martemyanovo in the Moscow Region’s Naro-Fominsky District, the cottages are sold with the option to install rooftop solar power plants equipped with Hevel PV-modules. These energy efficient homes are available with two possible power-generating configurations: an on-grid solar power system with a 1-15 kW capacity, which can reduce total electricity consumption from the grid, or a hybrid solar power system with a capacity of up to 5.6 kW combined with energy storage in the form of rechargeable batteries, which increase the power supply’s reliability and provide backup power for household electrical appliances.
The on-grid solar power plant with Hevel PV-modules can save future residents up to 50% of electricity costs annually, while the hybrid system deliberately solves the issue of possible power interruptions and outages, providing additional comfort in a new home that has been well designed to the smallest detail.
At present, a solar power plant based on the C3 kit has been already implemented on the roof of a two-storey cottage in the Mart House community. For demonstration purposes, the SPP is equipped with two connection types: on-grid and hybrid. The roof of the house holds 18 high-efficiency Hevel PV modules produced using heterojunction technology. The hardware kit includes: a GoodWe on-grid inverter for a grid connection, and a Victron universal inverter for a hybrid connection. The installed equipment’s total power is 5 kW, which is quite enough to supply an entire house.

Rosseti Moscow Region (PAO MOESK) supplies electricity to the community’s power grid. The cottage community’s power equipment was provided by the Hevel Group, the Russian leader in solar energy and the only Russian manufacturer of highly efficient solar modules using heterojunction technology. Hevel’s technology can generate up to 25% more electricity than traditional silicon technologies over the entire lifetime of the solar power plants.
“Initially, we had doubts that there would be enough sunlight in the Moscow Region and the panels would work effectively, but experience has shown that the panels work and the savings are quite significant for the developer. And it also has marketing appeal for the project. For us, as a developer, using solar solutions and such equipment will be a priority when entering new projects. During a year of operating a solar power system, practice has shown that the solar panels require no additional expenses on cleaning or operation: thanks to the slope of the roof, snow does not build up on them, and ice does not form. I hope Hevel has prosperity and success. Our company, Cascade Family, will continue to promote the idea of using solar solutions,” says Vitaly Kadyrov, Mart House’s project manager.
Mart House is Russia’s first community where the use of solar energy is no longer a fantasy! Even today it is possible to save up to 90,000 rubles a year by using Hevel solar panels. The option applies to any house in the community, and even now new residents can sell their surplus electricity, because a corresponding bill on micro-generation was adopted by the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
