Yelshanskaya 25 MW PV power plant is put into operation in the Orenburg region

Yelshanskaya 25 MW PV power plant has been put into operation in the Orenburg region. The new plant has started supplying power to the grid since July 1, 2019.

Yelshanskaya solar power plant was constructed based on hetorojunctional PV modules, produced on Hevel factory in Novocheboksarsk. The cell efficiency of these modules achieves 23%. Other components for the power plant, including invertor equipment and support structures, are also made in Russia.

Estimated annual power output of Yelshanskaya SPP is 30,5 MIO kW*h,, что which will enable to avoid 16 thousand tons of carbon dioxide emissions and save 4 MIO m3 of natural gas every year.

Earlier, Hevel Group constructed and put into operation in Orenburg region 5 MW Perevolotskaya SPP, 25 MW Sol-Iletskaya SPP, 30 MW Chkalovskaya SPP, 10 MW Grigoryevskaya SPP, as well as Pleshanovskaya and Grachevskaya SPP each of 10 MW capacity, which were sold to Fortum Group in 2017. Thus, total installed power of solar power plants in the region, managed by Hevel, has reached 95 МW.
