Hevel Group kickstarted the second phase of upgrading the production line of the factory in Novocheboksarsk, which will result in increase of production capacity from 160 to 250 МW of solar modules per year.
“The next step of production expansion will enable to launch production of 72-cells HJT monofacial and bifacial modules, which will increase the average module power up to over 400 W”, – as the Hevel Group CEO Igor Shakhray says.
Earlier, in the second quarter of 2017, the Hevel Group completed the first phase of the process line upgrade and started producing solar modules, based on an entirely new heterojunction technology. Maximum output efficiency – average cell efficiency of more than 22% – distinguishes it from the most of similar technologies. In addition, the modules perform more efficiently at high and low temperatures, thus significantly expanding their application geography.
