Four more Hevel Solar Power Plants Join Wholesale Market of Electric Energy and Power

The Trading System Administrator of the Wholesale Power Market has officially informed Hevel Group that it has approved commissioning of four solar power plants as of 1st of March. This means that all the necessary legal procedures have been completed and the solar power plants - two large-scale PV plants in Orenburg region and two in the Republic of Bashkortostan - may now feed into the grid.

The four new plants have a total installed capacity of 35 MW, which means that the Hevel Group is currently operating 11 grid connected PV stations which a total installed capacity of 75 MW.

This is a part of a pipeline of projects that Hevel is pursuing under a Russian national incentive scheme launched in May 2013. The scheme aims to support the construction of 1.5 GW of new solar power generation by 2024. Hevel is currently working on 364 MW of new solar plants in Russia and aims to expand this to 500 MW.
