Hevel Group to Build up to 40 MW of Off-Grid Diesel-Solar Power Generation in Russian Far East

A number of agreements have been signed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum to implement the national power generation project forconstruction of distributed solar generation.
Hevel Group has signed agreements on working with the Russian Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and with the Far East Investment and Export Agency in the context of an investment project to build off-grid hybrid power stations with a total capacity of 40 MW in the Russian Far East.

“Building off-grid generation using renewable energy sources is,first and foremost, a contribution to regional development”, noted Hevel CEO Igor Shakhray. “Diesel-solar plants cut consumption of diesel fuel by up to 50% in remote district where it is not economically viable to build a transmission grid.”
